STILFER was founded in 1984 by professionals who had already been working in the metalworking industry for years. The company made its first major investment in 1987 with the purchase of the “Ernest One Sapri” welding robot.

During these years, STILFER purchased the most important machinery that determined its future production development, such as the first Machining Center, the “Messer Griesheim” Pantograph Oxycutting Machine, and numerous state-of-the-art welding robots.

The company’s expansion had a major breakthrough when a new 2400 m² production facility was built in 2006. In the same year, the professionalism of the entire team enabled STILFER to obtain ISO 9001:2015 Certification.
Finally, in 2011, the company’s second 1400 m² division was opened.

Its success in the market allowed STILFER considerable growth, and in 2015 the company expanded by acquiring a new 2400 m² factory. In the same year, STILFER also obtained ISO 3834-2:2005 Certification.

Professionalism and continuous innovation allowed STILFER to grow more until, in 2019, the opening of a new plant the 1400 m² entirely dedicated to the sheet metal cutting department.
Fiber Laser 15 kW, Hypertherm Plasma and CNC Pantograph Ossitaglio are just some of the latest generation machines that characterized the cutting department from the very first moments.

In 2020, in contrast to the economic and social situation dictated by the COVID-19 pandemic, STILFER continued to expand its horizons and opened its fifth factory in Cavazzona (MO) with 4300 m² of covered space, dedicated to the production of large-scale manufactured goods.
Always being attentive to the safety of its employees and suppliers, STILFER achieved 45001:2018 Certification in 2023.
